I have been a Network Engineer for over 3 years and have my CCNP. I have been reading posts and researching about CCIE. I am fortunate enough to have a lab with 9 routers and a 2924 switch. I would love to get a 3550, voice and ATM, but like you too much $$$. Help!!! I am so intimidated. I don't want to start down the wrong path in the beginning. I am not asking those CCIE's or guys who have taken the test and failed to break any NDA agreements, but Where to start? I have the books, Doyle, Satterlee, Caslow. I am going to start going through these, but how do you know when you are ready? After I have gone through these books I am planning on buying CCbootcamps lab subscription etc. Help!!! I guess I need motivation or a direction, can you talk to me about your road successful or not?
