Hello Group, I've got a situation where I need to keep track of my IPSEC VPN connectivity to see how often it goes up and down. I prefer to use syslog, and have the VPN log messages when it does go down/up rather than SNMP. It seems like by default, there are some logging messages logged but I'm not sure what they are. I don't really want to turn on debugging, because there is too much info to log and it would overrun my logging buffer. Also, this is a VPN using crypto map, there is no GRE interface I can keep track of.
