Hi there all, I've got a couple of Local Director's, and am trying to find a way of doing intelligent "layer7) health checks of real servers. eg for ftp, the LD will probe port 21 on eht real server...if this port is not in a listening stated the LD will remove the real server from the binding to the VIP (Virtual IP)? There are built in mechanisms to do this probe for HTTP and DNS, but as yet have not found a way to do it for non-standard services / ports ?
I know you can do this on the CSS's, but not sure about the 4216's.
