to buy into a huge growth market? Especially in an area which they do not really cover at the minute (home user)....... Personally, I think it was only a matter of time - they announced earlier this year they were looking to buy companies to expand into growth areas in which they currently have little (or no) involvement at the minute. Also, they have just recently bought someone who provides voice technology (Signal or something I think) in their IP phones.
