There are advantages in using a totally different terminology than WP.  WP has all the standard terms already--they have what they consider peer-review, and what they consider copyediting.  But I think our "editors" are meant to be much more involved in the articles than merely as approvers or certifiers.

I am not sure myself whether I mean this seriously, but, like a doctoral candidate, perhaps an article can have an ad hoc committee.

Dear All,
Instead of an authoritarian name like caesar or czar why not have a name that (I thought, hope) reflects the nature of Citizendium.  What about calling its users citizens?

I like this.  I've also wondered about the term "editors" as used in CZ.  Since "editing" is what changing a wikipedia article is called, and since any "citizen" can do this, why not eliminate confusion by using a different word for people who are tasked to approve articles?  My incredibly creative and original suggestion is to call them "approvers."
