In regards to the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL), I should remind you that an updated version is drafted but not yet finalized.
See http://gplv3.fsf.org/doclic-dd1-guide.html for details. Citizendium may find that version more useful if they go with the GFDL at all. In which case, Citizens should also contribute to the GFDLv3 drafting process, also possible through the above url.
