All, Here's an idea about how to motivate people to select about 4,000 basic, common, much-needed topics, and then actually to write articles on those topics.
http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,1221.0.html See what you think! There's an excellent chance of a switchover to the most recent MediaWiki version this weekend. After that--watch out--we'll get this automated application approval plugin up and running, and then we'll have no excuse not to start massive recruitment. Massive recruitment is how I built Nupedia and then Wikipedia--and projects before those, too. It's sort of a specialty of mine. Except that next week I'm speaking in Dublin about "The New Politics of Knowledge" to the Institute for European Affairs. http://www.iiea.com/eventsxtest.php?event_id=276 So I probably won't be fully in recruitment mode until sometime after that. --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l
