As usual, the (hereby dubbed) mistress of ceremonies Aleta has fearlessly kicked off the October Write-a-Thon, since she is an Aussie and it is actually Wednesday there already. This is your once-a-month Prime Opportunity to dust off your expository tools and actually contribute a new article. Take a little time out of your busy day and give a shot in the arm to our grand little project--little, but getting bigger daily! Besides, the Write-a-Thon is good clean fun.
