I support your comments Pat, although I am unclear at whom they are directed. Do you mean the "supporters" of articles? This is very few people indeed. It would be good if some more editors came to support and/or edit CZ articles -- even if only modestly, as you suggest.
There is also a policy issue implicit in this: really, it would be better for all CZ articles not to start with the same sentence as the WP article. Indeed, they should not if there has been sufficient revision.
