All, At the end of today, "Stub Week" will be concluded. You can still write stubs, but two-sentence microstubs will be once again off-limits until we specifically permit/encourage them again. (I promised the Editorial Council that.)
A day or two into Stub Week I wrote a blog post http://blog.citizendium.org/2007/11/07/three-cheers-for-stubs/ that laid out the case for stubs. I'd like to keep an open mind, but considering the increased rate of production, and the apparent enthusiasm from many quarters with the idea, I'm all for it. I think Stub Week was a solid success and demonstrates that if we continue on with the policy, we'll make a reasonable start on many more topics--and looking at the results, this is something I, at least, am very comfortable with. In keeping with Editorial Council recommendations, I'm opening the topic up to public discussion before making a resolution on the topic. So, what do you think? Comment here: http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,1359.0.html BTW today was one of our most active days ever. Welcome to all the new (and returned) people! --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l
