Dear All: I'm one of the people who had to get an email to get me off my butt. The biggest and most intimidating thing in working with the wiki was the wikisyntax itself and understanding how things are organized.
In the past few months I've cruised the help files for mediawiki based sites across the net and launched three or four wikis of my own to get a feel for how things worked. I'd like to propose that the help pages include how-to videos. I could produce some of these using Camtasia over the next few weeks. Playing them within pages would require a plugin though, and I'm not sure if that's something worth looking at. I've got videos working using the "VideoFlash" and "dhflashplayer" extensions.
