Here's an answer from one of our technical crew to the question whether we have a back up server:
We do not. Someone collects the data from the dumps (and i can do that regularly when I get down to UVA) and stores it offsite. The DB server is a RAID-1, so we'd have to lose two hard-drives to actually lose the data (which is unlikely), but any problem with the server takes us out temporarily. I think the nightly DB backup thing has to be cleared out, as that partition got filled up and hasn't been maintained On Jan 6, 2008 2:24 PM, Larry Sanger <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Note, the following was posted on Citizendium-L. Do you have a back up server (or two) and are all the data being archived nightly? hourly? It's now being fixed (or has been fixed). --Larry _______________________________________________ Citizendium-l mailing list [email protected] https://lists.purdue.edu/mailman/listinfo/citizendium-l _____ More new features than ever.
