The elections to Lok Sabha has been announced .Election commission would be
spending nearly Rs 1300 crores of tax payers money to conduct the
election.Every party will have its own manifesto or agenda and to blame each
other on different issues. What we need from the political parties as common
agenda is accountability of elected representatives and Government servants
-makers and executors of the rules/laws
Today ,after getting elected any represntative is accountable to his
electorate only if he contest the next election.Unlike the HIRE AND FIRE
Policy in private sector no Government servant gets fired even if he is caught
by Lok Ayuktha.Both elected representatives and our Government servants are not
affected by recession- get their allowances and revision of pay scale
irrespective of their performance
If there is accountability -corruption would be minimised, tax payers money
can be used effectively and country will progress
