*Overview: We currently have an opening for a Sr. Oracle DBA/Architect in Boston, Massachusetts. This candidate should be able to demonstrate a strong drive and experience in Oracle 10g/11g RAC, ASM Clustering, Streams replication, SAS, Backup and Recovery mechanism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Database design and support and understanding of broad architecture within a telecom organization.* * * *Daily Responsibilities: Database Programming - Review the requirements and design the data objects and modeling Database Programming - Writing Queries, Stored procedures, Sequences and Triggers Database Administration - Setup the database and define the ETL for data loading from external data sources Database Administration - execution of change controls, routine maintenance, SQL scripting, Unix Shell scripting, performance monitoring, tuning, and Database diagnostics Oracle database application designs- like Transportable tablespace, Partition exchanges and management.
