Job description for a Tester position. MUST be local to NYC and MUST HAVE strong experience with the following: *SQL, Reporting Tools (ex. Cognos), Functional Testing (Load Testing, Integration Testing, etc.)*** *Location:* New York City *Duration:* 6+ months Skills: MUST HAVE strong experience with the following: SQL, Reporting Tools (ex. Cognos), Functional Testing (Load Testing, Integration Testing) Description: In this position, you will be an integral part of our testing team responsible for testing the reporting applications for a large-scale distributed financial application. You must be driven to excellence with the ability to work and think independently. Candidate should be accomplished in the development of complex test scripts, both manual and automated and with performing post-test analysis and assessment, which includes reading and interpreting process logs. Candidates must have experience developing, running and maintaining test scripts for functional testing of a distributed application. This position requires frequent interaction with developers as well as business analysts, product managers, thus the candidate must possess good oral and written communication skills.
