Oversees and facilitates evaluation of business requirements, recommending and directing the implementation of appropriate technological alternatives. Provides specialized, in-depth technical expertise and consultation to business and systems management. Manages staff to ensure effective design, analysis, project management, programming, training, implementation, and maintenance of enhancements. Reviews and recommends technology policy and assists in the systems planning process. Identifies risk factors and establishes/implements appropriate controls. Develops RFPs and has responsibility for vendor oversight and selection as appropriate. May prepare and/or administer a budget. More Specifically: Functions include the implementation of the rewrite of the ProfitMAX application, Wholesale Banking's customer profitability tool. This involves analyzing the root cause of the complex business problem and then designing the right solution and requires a complete understanding of Wholesale ProfitMax application. Candidate will lead the business user interface team and act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of moderately complex to complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Candidate must meet routinely with user community to ensure requirements are being met and functionality of application is meeting user expectations. Candidate will work closely with user experience and development team to ensure requirements are met. Independently, this team member is responsible for creating and delivering presentations to Wholesale offices, potential users and stakeholders within Wholesale and the greater enterprise project. Candidate will provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Prepares specifications for system changes and/or systems testing. Develops business requirements and strategies to meet business needs. Creates test scripts and use cases to verify user-interface and database code changes. Candidate will be accountable for documentation, database and user-interface testing, research, and financial analysis. Provides ad-hoc analysis as requested. Works with user support area to ensure ultimate end-user experience. Candidate will manage a team of approximately six business systems consultants. Please note that this is not a developer position.
