1. Design and architect custom cubes, and all related objects
(multiproviders, DSOs,DTPs, transformations infopackages, PSAs etc.) in SAP
BI/BW 7.0 environment according to SAP Best Practices to meet business
demands

2. Design and architect BPC to support annual budget and planning process

3. Ability to participate in conversion of BPS to BPC

4. Ability to support and trouble shoot existing BI/BW 7.0 environment that
includes the following functional areas; CO, FI,CATS, CCS, HCM, SD, BPS

5. Activation of provided SAP content including extractors and related
objects

6. Understanding of and ability to develop, and maintain BI/BW 7.0, using
EDW Methodology.

a. Be able to recommend and implement EDW layers within the BI Architecture

7. Set up of new functional areas.

8. Budget process re-engineering

9. Ability to advise on the whole reporting and analytics landscape

* Serve as a key support specialist and functional and technical expert for
the Controller*s Office Budgets Group.

* Using a thorough understanding of budgets, planning, financial and
accounting practices in the electric industry, and a large government
Authority. the candidate must be able to guide and assist business experts
in completing the annual budget process and following reporting and related
tasks through the budget year

* Conversion of BPS to BPC.

* Be able to recommend and implement BPC to provide the same or improved
functionality over the current BPS functionality available to Budget Group.

* Understand use of the ECC/R3 budget process and how to apply it to BPC.

* Examine BI 7.0 custom coded objects and translate the rules therein to
configure BPC

* Ability to support current BI 7.0 environment and trouble shoot when
required. Environment is comprised of BPC and numerous other cubes queries
and workbooks use to support corporate accounting, finance and budgets.

o Exceptional knowledge/background in finance and corporate budgeting

o Exceptional knowledge of the ECC/R3 budgeting process

o Ability to work in a team environment with both employees and consultants
is a must

o Will be required to work together under the direction of SAP Manager and
BI Team manager

o Candidates must be prepared to participate in fast track knowledge
transfer of complex environment from a number of highly experienced
consultants

o Candidates should be familiar with standard SAP provided BI business
content

o Must have at least 6 years of SAP BW/BI 3.5 functional configuration and
development experience, including a minimum of 3 years BI 7.0 experience.

o Must have implementation experience (design, architecture, and development
of various BI objects and reports) in SAP BI 7. 0

o Must have at least 3 years of BPC functional configuration and development
experience

o Must have some experience with BPC functional configuration and
development experience on the SAP Netweaver platform

o Preferred experience is with a finance and supply chain background with
emphasis on planning, budgeting and forecasting.

o Must have experience in designing, implementing and supporting complex
reports

o Must have ability to provide go-live Production Support, expertise with
SAP BW (BI) terminology, structure and functionality.

o Must have experience in working with both BeX 3.5 and BeX 7.0 front ends

o Expert knowledge of standard BI BC

o Hands-on performance tuning. Including building of indexes, aggregates,
statistics, compression, code review, query design, etc. desired.

o Ability to work proactively with Basis team in following procedures and
anticipating and resolving potential issues.

o Must have extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts, strategies,
and solutions.

o Ability to work directly with highly experienced user community to

o gather user requirements

o trouble shoot production issues related to reports, workbooks and queries

o Must have effective collaboration skills

o Must have the ability to communicate effectively across many different
levels of technical and business acumen.

o Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities

o Ability to understand business rules governing financial and budgeting
process

o Must have strong SAP R/3 experience.

o Strong analytical skills focused on creating optimal solutions

o An understanding of technical concepts, principles and terminology

o Exceptional oral and written communication skills

o Knowledge of SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence, Xcelsius, Crystal
Reports) would be

o extremely beneficial, but not a requirement

o Self-motivated, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines

o Ability to handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects simultaneously.

o Strong attention to detail

o Ability to clearly and correctly state and summarize technical information
