Works on multiple projects as a project team member. Considered a subject matter expert on a single platform. Responsible for providing advice and counsel on testing processes to end users involved with the development and execution of testing processes for IT related projects. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following: Provides input into recommendations for testing procedures. Defines appropriate authority, responsibility for testing processes, process documentation, training material, tools, templates, and metrics. Assists end-users with the design and development of testing strategies for a single platform. Participates in testing activities providing guidance to project teams on the appropriate testing methodologies needed to meet project objectives. Partners with project teams and coordinates testing. Assists with scheduling, designing, developing and implementing test plans. Identifies and resolves or escalates issues for resolution. Implements, maintains, and supports automated test tools. Develops and provides training on test tools. Reviews and provides input to test plans, test cases and schedules. Defines and evaluates testing metrics for end-users. Associate’s degree in computer science or information systems or other related field or equivalent work experience. Typically requires 3-5 years of testing or other relevant work experience. Understanding of healthcare, insurance or banking business. Strong knowledge of testing procedures.
