This person should be to set design/development direction for developers. This person would be responsible for doing code reviews as well.* 5 years minimum experience in ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, ASP, XML, XSL and CSS required. Development experience in MOSS 2007 (*Sharepoint) REQUIRED. Lotus Notes Domino experience preferred. * The primary role of the *lead developer is to quide development of solutions in Sharepoint using XSL(-T), CSS, HTML andASP.NET <http://asp.net/> and C# that will be migrating from Lotus Notes Domino. * *Deployment *experience is required. The lead developer works directly with the BA to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Technical skills are the key to this role but we also require *excellent communication* skill (both written and oral). * **Design experience* is required for this role. This *role also has responsibility for ensuring how projects are developed and what approach is taken* based on Monsanto Standards (Sharepoint), .NET, Web, Usability). * **This role is accountable for design approach and following standards as well as making sure that other developers on their project follow set standards if more than one developer is on the project.* This role may also work on the estimation process for projects along with the BA. This BA/PM's primary focus is on SharePoint application migration coordination. This role will involve managing day to day support and enhancement requests for all Domino to SharePoint applications. Enhancement requests will require the BA/PM to collect requirements, plan delivery of those requirements, lead and coordinate with technical team members (Developers, Quality Technicians and other Stakeholders) on delivery, and ensure that all proper testing is completed including user acceptance testing. This role also entails managing the enhancement requests from a tactical sense (deliverables and timelines as well as budget) directly with clients. This role has a high degree of customer interaction and requires someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills. It also requires someone with planning experience that can plan and coordinate multiple small enhancement efforts, as well as manage/complete all support requests in a timely manner. This position at times will require technical skills including the ability to create and configure sites, CSS, XSL and basic HTML as well as content. These skills are very important to these roles so candidates should have experience working with these technologies.
