Primary functions and responsibilities include: * Provide Security expertise and input in Infrastructure Design and Operations * Perform PCI compliance related activities, including quarterly scan management, input into Reports on Compliance, and technical security guidance. * Serve as IT security Subject Matter Expert and participate in security audit and compliance efforts * Conduct internal vulnerability assessments and penetration testing. * Monitor and Maintain Intrusion Detection Systems * Monitor & Maintain Centralized Logging System and managed service * Review and Report on intrusion, firewall, and log data * Assist in the development and modification of Security Policies, Standards, and Procedures * Engage security vendors and evaluate and recommend security products and Managed Security Service Providers * Assist in the development of Security Awareness program and communications * Develop security reports and present data and information relative to security activities * Provide input and expertise into Security incident response and investigations 3+ years experience in Information Securutiy-related activities and systems including vulnerability and threat assessments, Intrusion Detection Systems(IDS), Security Event and Information Management (SEIM), attack and penetration reviews, operating system reviews, and network architecture and design assessments. Experience with Information Security in a large-scale retail organization and PCI Compliance preferred. Technical skills include knowledge of a broad range of computing and network systems including Cisco, Windows, Linux/Unix and WAN/LAN communications. * Auditing of networks, operating systems, and applications * Vulnerability assessment of networks, operating systems, and applications * Security administration of networks, operating systems, and applications * Intrusion detection * Security incident response * Firewalls * Networking * Virus prevention * Security policy and standards Additional information: BS in Computer Science or Telecommunications or equivalent experience.
