FULL NAME: AVAILABILITY: STATUS ( US CIT/GC/H1 ): CURRENT LOCATION: EMAIL: PHONE: PER HOUR ALL INCLUISVE RATE: Location : Jersey City, NJ Length : 6 months + Will have Face to Face Interview Description: SAP FI/CO and SEM-BCS Consultant SAP FI/CO & BCS Consultant combines knowledge and experience gained within the business and functions with a strong understanding of current SAP ECC6 and BCS systems. The incumbent provides users of SAP with technical configuration support and expertise in effectively conducting activities within all the areas of SAP. Responsibilities in FI/CO role: . Provide functional and technical configuration expertise in support of SAP ERP and related applications suite with a concentration in Financial/Controlling and a familiarity with all other modules. . Experience which demonstrates an understanding of the technical aspects of the SAP FI/CO modules and business processes. . Experience which demonstrates a thorough understanding of the business processes within a financial environment . . Work closely with the business functional community to investigate and resolve business process issues and proactively propose creative solutions . Assists with SAP user training development, documentation and delivery. . Develop and implement resolutions for SAP processing issues identified by the businesses in Financial Asset Management environment Responsibilities in BCS role: The candidate will be responsible for creating financial consolidation solutions. The Consultant will provide technical and functional knowledge on the configuration of BW-based SEM-BCS on consolidation and will interact with client contacts to ensure alignment of the design with business strategy and objectives. Responsibilities include: . Understanding and experience with US accounting standards and practices is a plus. . Knowledge of configuration of the functions relevant to the process of consolidation, load data, the Net Results, Auto Adjust (reclassifications and allocations), elimination of intercompany transactions, equity, participation of consolidation (investment) and validations. Education: . Bachelors degree required, preferably CPA or CA Experience in software testing, system design, configuration and implementation as well as an emphasis in data analysis and reporting in a multiple system environment supporting these specific sectors: . PBM, distribution, and/or manufacturing is preferred. The position requires the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of data management, procurement, inventory management, cycle counting, physical inventory, Radio Frequency (wireless barcode scanning hardware and infrastructure) and accounts payable processes are strongly desired. Understanding of SAP customizing toolset (IMG). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) & Visio. Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance/Info Systems or equivalent years of experience. APICS Certification or SAP Certification desired.
