(Candidate can be H1B) 80% Travel involved (Contract to Direct Hire) Job Title : BizTalk Architect Location : Nashville, TN Duration : Contract to Direct Hire) (Candidate can be H1B) 80% Travel involved (Contract to Direct Hire) The Lead Biztalk Architect will be serving as Architect for all projects involving BizTalk but primarily in the initial discovery, design and delivery of projects. The candidate will work closely with the sales side identifying solutions that increase customer satisfaction and provide product solutions that can be utilized by the client. The client prefers candidates holding a Microsoft (MS) "MVP" designation (though not required). A strong Computer Science (CS) foundation is also required. A CS degree is preferred but each candidate must have a strong understanding of CS Laws such as: Cohesion, Coupling and Complexity (only an example of many related laws). For example, can you compare and contrast Cohesion and complexity... *Key Responsibilities:* Strong understanding of business processes, business architecture and technology in order to communicate effectively with the client(s) Strong knowledge of frameworks, methodologies, patterns and best practices that allows the Lead Biztalk Architect to develop solutions that integrate with existing client systems and provide complete solutions to clients needs Must be familiar with major vendors at an architectural level in order to offer possible solutions to a specific project Must keep current with the latest technology trends and client products 5 - 15 years experience in a consulting environment 5 - 10 years of team management experience Experience with the basic artifacts of BizTalk including XSD, XSLT, orchestration, maps, messaging (ports, pipelines) Experience developing custom components like custom adapters or custom pipeline components Familiar with integration patters commonly used with BizTalk including: Splitter, Aggregator, Publish/Subscribe and Message Broker (content base routing) Worked with architectural concepts like SOA, OOP, EAI and B2Bi Implement and monitor solutions like BAM Additional skills such as EDI, HL7, Healthcare, HIPPA, Business Rules Engine (BRE), Sharepoint, BizTalk Tool Kit 2.0 also desired Strong customer facing skills required.
