Position: SUN Solaris SME ** **Duration: 4 months – possibility of extension** **Location: Lebanon, OH and Raleigh, NC** **Start: 9/27/10* ******* There are four openings in Ohio and two openings in NC. ******* *Experience/Skills:* · Knows the Sun 5000/5500/1000 hardware array with back ground in stage I/O cards on the hardware platform · Knows the Sun Enterprise 450/3000/3500/4000 chassis arrays with back ground know how in staging I/O cards · Worked with SUN HBA edge cards dating back to 2000 for the SUN chassis · Worked with EPROM 3.1.0 and later relating firmware to most SUN legacy RISC server chassis's before the V series chassis's · Has a solid back ground in testing, staging and Diagnosing SUN IO hardware if a issue surfaces, need to be able to corrected the problem on the fly. *Project description:* · Build-out new infrastructure at Client's co-lo datacenter in Lebanon, Ohio. · This infrastructure consists of racking/stacking very old bare metal Sun SPARC and HP 9000 platforms together with installation of their legacy, out-of-support Sun Solaris OSes (as old as 5.1, 5.5, 5.6) and HP-UX 10.20, 11.0, as well as their newer OS versions. · Installation requirement includes building these servers in compliance to Client's Gold Build Image. 2.) *Position: VMware SME Duration: 4 months – possibility of extension Location: Lebanon, OH and Raleigh, NC Start: 9/27/10*** Description: ****** There are four openings in Ohio and two openings in NC. ****** · Candidates must have VMware with ESX 3.5 and 4.0 know how to Vmotion, Vmcloning , virtual center, and installation of Windows 2000, 2003, NT5 and NT5.2, VMware ESX/Server/OS build engineer skills. · Candidates must have in-depth knowledge of VMware. · Ability to trouble shoot and resolve issues as needed during a data center migration. · Excellent communications skills. · Good Technical writing skills. · There may be some nights or weekend work required. · Must have own Laptop, preferably an HP Brand.
