*Requirement: Business Analyst with PeopleSoft Exp. Duration: 6+ Months Location : Medition WI* PS BA doing fitgap and upgrade planning; PS 9.0; academic, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS), A strong functional knowledge of Campus Solutions (CS) Systems is required to be able to provide innovative technical solutions to meet the business objectives of improving overall administrative business processes by utilizing improvements that are available in version 9.0 to re-evaluate previous implementation decisions made, in particular, reducing the number of modifications previously implemented. *Position Responsibilities:* • Define and document business requirements for system upgrade initiatives • Provide on-site application expertise to assist user base with application analysis • Identify business opportunities and develop recommendations/drive solutions for application improvement opportunities • Provide project/task management support as required • Develop subject matter expertise in the functional areas. Assist the business in the identification and adoption of operational best practices. • Partner with the functional team to identify and document business requirements necessary to provide requested business solution. • Perform fit gap analysis necessary to insure that appropriate functional solutions are identified. • Work with functional staff throughout the process to insure that all necessary information has been documented; document existing business processes and refine future processes • Create system test plans/Work with the functional team to ensure appropriate test plans have been created • Track issues/data problems that arise, investigate the true cause of problems, and recommend mitigation solutions • Work with the functional team to improve work processes and identify cost savings opportunities *Selection Criteria:* • Experience working in higher education environment with demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional areas • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience • Ability to work closely with users and technical team • Knowledge of industry standard business analysis techniques; object oriented analysis preferred • Experience in use case business analysis techniques • 2-4 years of business analysis experience • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Visio • Very strong analytical skills • Excellent problem solving skills • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to grasp concepts quickly • Capable of explaining business issues to technical team • Ability to work successfully in both a team environment and independently • Excellent organizational skills with proven, dependable follow-through • Highly resourceful and motivated • Must be able to communicate effectively with business peers, IT peers and vendors to identify business solutions • Experience with People tools • Experience with PeopleSoft Security and workflow • Ability to engage and partner with individuals at all levels of the organization.
