Overview:
Experienced SAP Organization Change Management (OCM) Resource

The ideal resource is an excellent communicator with demonstrated OCM and
training experience in SAP implementations (preferably with ERC) in large,
geographically dispersed organizations, understands SAP ASAP methodology,
and has successfully applied these skills to both implementation and
post-implementation scenarios.

Position description:
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) resource will be responsible for
SAP ERC post-implementation OCM, and will focus on (1) strategic and
tactical communications, (2) tool and process adoption, (3) changing
perceptions associated with the tool, (4) changing and measuring the effects
of change, and (5) making recommendations and developing future, longer-term
plans OCM tactics associated with ERC.

This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to
business processes, systems and technology, and job roles.

The primary focus will be strategic and tactical communication and
implementing change management plans that minimize employee resistance and
maximize employee engagement.

The OCM resource will work to drive faster adoption, greater ultimate
utilization and higher proficiency on the changes impacting employees in the
organization such that business results are achieved.

The OCM resource will interact with company leaders in helping them fulfill
the role of change sponsor.

The OCM resource may provide direct support and coaching to front-line
managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through
transitions.

Roles and responsibilities:
* Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the
people side of change caused by projects and change efforts
* Implement a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of
the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change
* Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance,
and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
* Conduct stakeholder and business post-implementation assessments; evaluate
results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner
* Implement actionable and targeted change management plans – including, but
not necessarily limited to:
o Communication (internal / external, executive level through end-user)
o Coaching
o Training
o Resistance management
* Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business
leaders
* Be an active and visible coach to executive leaders who are change
sponsors
* Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and
proficiency of individual changes
o Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and
implement corrective actions
* Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and recognition
* Work with communication, training, HR specialists as necessary to
formulate and execute specific plans and activities supporting adoption

Skills and qualifications:
* A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change
process
* Extensive knowledge & experience of change management principles and
methodologies
* Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal, including:
o Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
o Excellent active listening skills
o Problem solving and root cause identification skills
o MUST be a team player and able to work with and through others
o Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal *
Experience with large-scale organizational change effort
* Practical OCM (including training) experience
* SAP experience a plus
* SAP ERC implementation experience a plus
* ASAP Methodology experience a plus
* Change Management Professional designation (e.g. Prosci certification) is
a plus *
