Duration : 6 Month Contract *ETL & Data Design System Developer - Sr. Technical Architect* *Job Description:* Seeking a qualified ETL architect/developer with data modeling, database design and basic database administration experience to design and create lights out data load processes in our fast paced dynamic environment. This individual will also create operational support processes, troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, produce documentation, attend design meetings and mentor others. Candidate is expected to provide guidance for new data modeling and database design projects. Candidate should possess excellent organization and communication skills. *Primary Responsibilities:* Perform software development using industry standard ETL tools to create new data loads and re-engineer existing data pipelines Design data structures, perform data modeling and create new data load processes to support new products Perform data analysis, data mapping and develop and document transformation logic Manage ETL code repository across multiple remote teams Support the movement of ETL packages through the SDLC Provide and own the support and monitoring processes for all ETL jobs, includes close collaboration with off-shore teams to meet SLA’s Own the creation and support for all physical ETL environments Participate as a member of each SCRUM team, provide data modeling, support architecture and design solutions Produce operational support documentation Provide some database administration support Bachelors degree Informatica Certified Professional SSIS Certified Professional *Experience:* 7 + years experience in ETL, Data Modeling & Database Design (ideally 10+ yrs experience) 7+ years experience in the following: Proven experience with Informatica & SSIS Proven experience in designing optimal processes and structures for high performance Proven experience in executing data modeling to meet new data access requirements Deep understanding of SQL statement tuning Experience with SQLServer Enterprise Edition on a 64-bit platform Experience with MySQL on a 64-bit platform Proven UNIX/Linux shell scripting experience Proven ability to work in global environments with counterparts in remote offices and attend scheduled evening calls Experience with Agile methodology Provide production support Resourceful, responsible, flexible, able to work unsupervised and dedicated to quality of work ..
