I am the Senior Executive Recruiter at Sonoma Consulting and I am currently
working to fill a role for a *SAP FICO Consultant *that will be based on
site in *Farmers Branch ,TX*
Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant
Duration: 2-3 months
Location : Farmers Branch ,TX
1. 5-15 years with SAP FI module
2. Configurations
3. Gather reqs/creating specs for programming
4. Make recommendations to executive leadership
5. 10/10 comm skills
6. Preferred. COPA experience (Controlling Profitability Analysis)
Liaison between IT, business and financial/accounting units. Gather
requirements, writing specs for the programmers.
Reporting and recommendations/presentations to management and executive
leadership.
They already have it implemented but this person will be in charge of
upgrades, enhancements, modifications etc.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Meet with functional users and determine requirements, perform analysis of
requirements to determine the best solution for the user. Create
functional specifications and programming specifications which will be used
to create the programs or programming changes needed to achieve the
functional requirement. Perform user training, and user support by
handling questions, requests, and troubleshooting potential problems.
PERFORMANCE
ELEMENTS ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
30 % 1. Meeting with Functional users to determine requirements.
Conduct interview type meetings asking pertinent questions to determine the
true needs/requirements of the functional area. Document those
requirements.
30 % 2. Analyze requirements and create functional
specification. Perform analysis on the requirements and determine the
best technical solution to meet the requirements. Document that solution
in the form of functional specifications. Meet with functional user to
verify the analysis.
20 % 3. Create programming specification. Based on user
acceptance to the functional specification, create programming
specifications. Meet with programmer to review these and monitor
programming progress.
10 % 4. Perform testing of finished program. Coordinate
final user testing and acceptance. Coordinate user training.
10 % 5. Perform user support. Handle user questions,
research reporting problems and troubleshoot programs. Conduct user
information transfer sessions and help educate the users on system
functionality.
