*Title: Deployment Engineer*
*Position: Contract 2+ Months*
*Location: Columbus , OH*
*Job Description:*
- Create and maintain fully automated CI build processes for multiple
.NET and Java products.
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Team to introduce deployment and
application monitoring automation.
- Work closely with the Application Architect to brainstorm, design and
implement technical build and deployment solutions.
- Work with the QA Team to test new deployment software.
- Write build and deployment scripts.
- Produce clear installation and deployment guides for data center
personnel.
- Establish a proactive application monitoring environment.
- Create an environment where product upgrades can take place with a
zero, or near zero, maintenance window.
- Continual maintenance and improvement of automation.
- Coordinate day to day operations of Infrastructure group to support
production, as well as products under development.
*Technologies:*
- Solid understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
concepts.
- Experience with CI Engines (Cruise Control .NET and TFS a plus).
- Strong scripting skills, MS Build preferred, but PowerShell, ANT, &
Perl experience acceptable.
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of overall networking technologies and production level
infrastructures
- Understanding of Citrix XenApp and Secure Gateway Administration
- Understanding of Tomcat / TC Server
- Worked on Jenkins, Chef, Vagrant, Packer, Flyway, Rundeck
