A passionate practitioner of effective data visualization.* *Roles, Responsibilities, Skills and Experiences:* - Experience with designing, developing, deploying and supporting Tableau dashboards - *Must have Alterys, Cloudera and MS Excel experience.* - *Extract* data from RedShift and other platforms using SQL and other platforms/languages and put into a form conducive to answering business questions in Tableau. - *Automate* this process for future requests/requirements. - *Design and update* Tableau workbooks, the descriptions and data need to be up to date, accurate - *Create and maintain* complex dashboards for information - *Tableau Server Administration* – installations/ configuration , upgrades, patches, change management, performance tuning, standards/ best practices, mentoring, metadata management, etc. It is a maintenance project where candidate will be working on existing Tableau reports. - Must communicate clearly and precisely with end users and the business. - Develops visualizations as part of the business team in conjunction with users. - Train and support users to be proficient in use of the tools. - Strong SQL skills. - Ability to understand business requirements and functional details. - Ability to document requirements, create test scripts, and perform UAT. - Act as Product Owner on behalf of the business Thanks Sharon Kolluru - Sr Executive Recruiter Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
