Please Share Profile at-----------a...@tresourceinc.com <http://sourceinfotech.com/> *USC or GC only…exp. on Rear View Camera, Board Support Package (BSP)* *Position:** Senior Engineer* *Location: Peachtree City, GA * *Duration: 6+ months (C2C)* Scope of Work: · Minimum 5 plus years relevant experience Linux Kernel, C, C++, System Architecture, Linux Services, Early Services, Rear View Camera, Board Support Package (BSP), Power Moding, Start-up or Shutdown, Device Drivers, SE Linux, Linux Security, Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA), SW Update, FOTA, Video Layer Management, Audio Routing, Dirana C and C++ · Minimum 3 to 6 months with possible extension up to 3 years · Responsible for assuring that client's core services solutions are successfully integrated into the infotainment head unit product, on time with high quality to the customer. · Technical position who will provides direction to both on-shore and off-shore development teams to develop new features, debug defects and write unit level test frameworks and test cases. · Will utilizes strong project management skills including planning, tracking to that plan, and communicating status to both internal and external customers. Additional Job Description: · Works with global software development teams to develop new features, debug defects and write test cases for unit testing. · Works with suppliers to analyze requirements and develop interfaces to other modules. · Leads and or participates in meetings between client, suppliers, and client’s customers for design reviews and to track project status. · Evaluates new software releases from suppliers to ensure it meets the acceptance criteria. · Coordinates software development activities with other software teams. · Keeps abreast of new technologies and methods for the purpose of recommending changes that will benefit current and future customer programs. · Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. · Follows the technical domain lead’s design direction for implementation, and apply best practices. · Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations. · Prepares reports, charts, graphs, and other statistical information. · Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Problem Solving or Know How:(complexity of problems and education or experience and other knowledge required) · Four year College Degree in at least one STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and a minimum of five (5) years of experience or a minimum of ten (10) years of full life cycle embedded software development in electronics products. · Minimum two (2) years leading a team of software engineers with a formal development process such as Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, or Extreme Programming. · Proficient with C, C++ and Object Oriented Design (OOD). · Experience in designing, developing and debugging software in a real time embedded environment. · Have a strong understanding of hardware. · Knowledge of device drivers, POSIX interfaces, resource managers. · Experience in embedded OpenGL ES based development. · Experience with display layer management such as blending / composite, scaling, de-interlace and color conversion with HW accelerated engine. · Experience with graphic performance tuning in embedded systems with high frame rate ( > 30fps) map rendering / HMI graphics. · Technical skill to manage graphics related development such as layer management, and troubleshooting graphics performance issues in embedded systems. · Working knowledge of high end embedded RTOS’s such as Linux, Android, etc. · Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management (SCM) systems. · Working knowledge of a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). · Experience working in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Windows based databases. Desired Experience: · Experience mentoring and motivate team members. · Experience with Agile project management. · Experience in designing Application Programming Interfaces (API’s). · Working knowledge of the IBM Jazz or RTC environment. · Working knowledge of IDE’s including Eclipse. Attributes or Skills: · Must be able to use methods appropriate to the position and assignment to solve problems and achieve accurate results.
