Role: Java Systems ArchitectLocation : San Diego, CAType: 6+ monthsInterview: Face to Face after Telephonic Duties: · Contribute original technical expertise, insight, and content to a white paper describing what would go into new HL7 standards documentation to reach DSTU for a Task Management service· Meet regularly several times a week to brain storm, negotiate and argue about some highly technical/clinical topics · Describe and document artifacts, modeling, sequence/component diagrams· Describe and document enhancements to 3 existing DSTU services that need to be addressed and go thru a standards organization to get to DSTU v2.0· Special projects as assigned Requirements: · Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other technical Bachelors Degree· 10 years Java programming and architectural design experience· 5 years relational or No SQL database experience· 5 years experience in Healthcare domain· 2-3 years information modeling experience· Expert in software engineering and modeling· Proven Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development experience· Excellent critical thinking, verbal and writing skills Desired Skills: · Human and/or computer task orchestration and management experience· Experience with standards development (i.e. ISO, ANSI, HL7, etc.) a plus.
