Job Title : Business Analyst/Testers Location : Frankfort, KY Duration : 6+ Months Job Description · We are currently seeking a Business Analyst/Tester who can provide functional and technical in-depth analyses and testing for large scale IT systems. · The candidate will regularly work under deadlines, must be capable of handling extreme workloads and act independently with only general direction. · The candidate must demonstrate high levels of knowledge with business analyst/testing skills for IS methodologies and processes including the Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and Change Management. · Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Products, Team Foundation Server and SQL. Knowledge of DCBS and DMS Medicaid policy or Human Services Policy background is preferred but not required. · The Business Analyst/Tester will be a member of a team who will be responsible for: • Writing test plans and testing critical eligibility applications during all phases of systems development. • Assist with providing smoke testing and support after production releases. Troubleshoot applications and/or interfaces as problems arise. • Assist with reviewing data fixes on a routine basis. Make recommendations concerning operations, problems and issues in the systems environment. • Work with the user communities and vendors to meet implementation timeline. • Administer communication activities as needed.
