We are currently working on filling an exciting new contract opportunity for an *Mainframe Programmers *position that will be based out in *Madison, WI*. *Job Title: Mainframe Programmer* *Location: Madison, WI* *Duration: 3+ Months* *F2F IS MUST* Our client is replacing its imaging system, ImagePlus. There are approximately 150 mainframe components that directly access the ImagePlus system and these components must be re-engineered to process without accessing the imaging system. This request is for 2 senior mainframe developers who can work with our clients’ staff and other consultants to implement solutions that have been developed by a technical lead *Duration* 3 month contract initially with possibility of extension. *Qualifications* · Five or more years of development experience using COBOL in a Z/OS environment. · Strong development skills using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and SQL in a DB2 environment. · Demonstrated analytical experience delivering high-level and detailed technical specifications. · Comfortable using a disciplined development methodology and adhering to development standards and procedures. · Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver assignments on time, on budget, and with the required functionality. · Solid communication and interpersonal skills. · Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills.
