Good troubleshooting skills required - if candidate has Automation or Java Development that's a plus but not absolutely necessary. If candidate has test automation development skills, it's preferred to use Java testing with STAF but not critical (a control module). Candidate should be comfortable in a QA environment and have good troubleshooting and SQL and Windows Server knowledge. It's server testing as well as desktop testing. Clients scale anywhere from 2 machines, to many, many machines. Responsibilities will include manual verification of bug fixes and test execution so they can execute automation. Someone with strong troubleshooting skills and a support background would substitute for QA testing. SQL exposure is good, but not required.
