This is Sharon (Senior Executive Recruiter) from Sonoma Consulting, We are looking for a *Sr Net Developer**/ **Indianapolis- IN**/ *6 month *Role: **Sr Net Developer* *Locals : Indianapolis- IN* *Length: **6 month contract* Skillset Requested: · Extensive knowledge of information systems design principles and new systems design techniques – via seven plus years of hands-on programming and design experience in a team environment working N-tier systems working in Microsoft .Net technologies (Advanced) - 7+ years · Proficiency in C#, ASP, ADO, and JavaScript; Strong knowledge of the .Net (2.0 +) framework; Strong knowledge of concurrency and experience developing multithreaded applications; MVC experience preferred. (Advanced) - 7+ years · Knowledge of ORACLE (DBMS, Advanced Queuing, and PL/SQL) a plus (Intermediate) - 2+ years · Knowledge of SQL SERVER (DB) a plus (Intermediate) - 1+ years · Agile/Scrum (Intermediate) - 1+ years *Purpose of Position/Summary:* · Candidate works in the Indiana Department of Revenue information technology division performing systems analysis, programming duties, and application database administration. · This position is on the INtax team. This is an agile/scrum team responsible for INtax and other outward facing web sites. Our primary technology stack is C#, MVC, Web API, Oracle, JQuery and BootStrap. · Resource will report to the Application Systems Analyst Senior and Programming Supervisor responsible for the continued development, upgrade, and maintenance of internally developed applications. *Essential Duties/Responsibilities:* · Develop code of intermediate to complex difficulty to achieve project goals. · Responsible for implementation and release of software and database changes according to agreed timescales. · Prepare detailed specifications from which application enhancements and/or new software components will be written. · Prepare and conduct application and interface (data exchange) testing. · All other responsibilities as assigned. *Job Requirements:* · Proficiency in C#, ASP.Net, MVC, JQuery. · Experience with Oracle database development in 11g and above versions. · Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. · Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts. · Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics. · Good communication and documentation skills. · Advanced knowledge of information systems design principles and new systems design techniques – via three plus years of hands-on programming and design experience in a team environment working N-tier systems working in Microsoft .Net technologies. · Strong knowledge of the .Net (4.0 +) framework. .
