Please call me on *6145037633 *or e-mail me at *an...@technocraftsol.com* <an...@technocraftsol.com> *Job Title: **QA Analyst / Tester**(USC or GC only and Local)* *Location: **Concord NC * *Contract Length: 6 months* *Job Responsibilities:-* *Position Description* Develop test cases and scripts (manual and automated; functional and non-functional) Understand requirements and ensure test cases are mapped to them Validate environment, test data and builds Execute test cases and scripts (manual and automated; functional and non-functional) Accurately capture actual testing results; assure completeness Accurately capture defects; assure completeness of test scenarios Provide daily status of test execution and defect status to QA Lead Identify areas to improve quality; work with QA Leadwork with business analysts to understand user and functional and non-functional requirements and business specifications. Prepare and gather the test data necessary for the test execution in the QA environment. Perform manual and automated testing. Track & prioritize defects throughout product releases and lifecycles. Collaborate effectively with local and remote team members including the QA lead, project manager, developers, and business analysts. Use quality control tools and metrics to discover defects and make recommendations for resolution. Participate in all aspects of testing including SIT, Regression, and Load testing. Help the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team with the design of their test cases at the business level, and support the UAT team to meet their objectives. Work with the Customer Support group and help in reproduction of the defects in QA, and closure. Record and report on testing metrics. Prioritize test activities, working with QA lead. Provide input regarding product quality. Adhere to defect tracking standards, procedures, and techniques. Generate test status reports, defect reports, and participate in defect triages. Work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution of all identified problems. *Required Skills:* · 4+ years of software test experience with focus on enterprise web applications, backend systems. · Strong understanding, and skills to write and execute SQL queries. · Understanding of enterprise-level software testing methods and best practices, · Hands-on skills in the areas of defect life cycle, reporting test execution status with accuracy. · Experience translating software requirements into accurate and complete test scenarios. · Knowledge and experience with SDLC and quality methodologies. · Experience in Agile using tools such as Rally or Jira or ServiceNow. · Testing Webservices, and APIs · Silk Test Management · Testing in Agile/Scrum development · Skills relevant to order processing, commissions, customer care, logistics, and reports are desirable.
