It is really a system administrator role. Doesn't need to be an expert and can be a more junior person to train up. - Make sure the website is up and running. - Company has servers on-prem and in the cloud. We are taking the files from deployment to servers (new website for server), IIS, DNS, Networking understanding. In the cloud we are setting it up ourselves. Ideally someone that has some cloud, understands sub-nets. Should have some basic SQL. Any Linux is a plus. - TeamCity is the deployment tool (any deployment tool like bamboo will work). - We can consider slightly higher on the rate · We are looking for an Applications Operations Support Specialist to support daily operational routine tasks and small operations projects. This resource would work directly with our onsite Solutions Architect, a Project Manager on project deliverables, and Managed Service providers for the procurement of the actual infrastructure setup. He/she would ideally have experience working with cloud providers (preferably AWS), good foundational knowledge of infrastructure best-practices, and experience working with a variety of different technical toolsets. Someone willing to learn, good communication skills, strong troubleshooting skills, and proactive attitude. · *Job Description:* · · · Involve in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirement analysis, design and implementation. · · Participation on multiple project teams, including creating value with technology, designing and modeling solutions, component identification, quality reviews, and adherence to guidelines and procedures. · · Recommending new tools, methodologies, technologies, data and platforms. · · Supporting the selection of tools and components used for an IT project. · · Providing input on options, risk, cost vs. benefits, and impacts on other processes for buy vs. build decisions. · · Analyzing the current architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements such as expanding capacity, predictability, reducing time & cost, and increasing effectiveness. · · Lead delivery of engagements and act as a technical liaison for customers; · · Consult on highly technical requirements for client engagements and document design; · · Convert technical requirements into actionable scopes of work; · · Coordinate proof of concept testing; · · Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of server virtualization storage and cloud engagements · · Coordinate (with Managed Service Providers) the procurement of servers in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements; · · Research and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks; · · Perform daily tasks including system monitoring and daily backup operations. · · Provide hosting support during off hours. · · *Requirements* · · Goal driven, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; · · Desire to learn new and advanced emerging technologies and obtain certifications; · · Able to work on a team and support development and delivery of a solution; · · Solid understanding of network protocols and network architecture · · Proven resourcefulness and problem solving ability; · · Strong and effective written and oral communication skills. · · Intermediate/Advanced skill with Core Microsoft Windows Services (I.e.
