Must have a solid history of application development, support, modifications, enhancements and troubleshooting. Will be responsible for developing technical solutions utilizing new or existing applications to enhance business processes. Responsibilities may include systems support, testing, system management, reporting and technical documentation. Responsible for using existing and emerging technology platforms to design development and document detailed distributed applications. Responsibilities: Develop in all phases of the programming life cycle: code, debug, design, document, implement, maintain, and test. Design, develop and implement software interface applications as defined by the assigned project. 6-8 years of relevant work experience is required. • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required • 6-8+ years of experience in SQL Server database development required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus • Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives Strong SQL Server T-SQL development experience with a minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in T-SQL development including writing complex stored procedures. Design and develop enterprise level applications Strong experience with design and developing standard database objects – tables, stored procedures, views, functions, indexes Very good experience and skill with index design, Query performance tuning and Partitioning Strong database design experience Experience with data modeling tools like Erwin or embarcadero Familiarity with standard SQL Server management tasks like sql server jobs, maintenance plans Interact with the stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them to design and construction.
