Please revert me back if you feel comfortable for below position *Operations Analyst* *Position Type*: Contract *Location*: Alpharetta, GA, United States ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - The Operations analyst provides IT operations functions to offices for the organization's standard hardware, software and voice/data network solutions. - Responsible for the Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management activities - Acts as the point of communication between Management, IT, business and functional units during and post incidents. - Performs triage calls, Root cause Analysis, Change Advisory Board calls and operations functions as appropriate in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. - The individual will coordinate and direct the teams in cross-organizational and cross-functional areas. - Monitors application availability using Opnet tool, security compliance in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. - Responsible for maintenance of systems documentation such as IT operations Process, SOP, run-books and troubleshooting guides - Provides escalated technical support that requires an on-site presence (server, NAS, network or PC equipment failure), including data backup recovery. Support complex software/hardware troubleshooting, patches and re-installations in cooperation with the Enterprise Helpdesk and in accordance with established SLAs. - In cooperation with IT and support operations staff and key users, provides support disaster recovery/business continuity planning to offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units. - The position is supervised by the division Director of Information and Operations and has no direct reports. - Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS - Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years related experience or equivalent combination. - Professional certifications (Ex: ITIL) as appropriate. - Knowledge of current trends in the specific field. - Demonstrated experience with software applications, including Opnet, Service Now and SharePoint. May require analytics skills with ability to produce reports. Ability to analyze and interpret data. - Familiarity with support and troubleshooting of business applications that include various technologies. - Must have a strong dedication to customer service. - Training ability/experience a plus. COMPLEXITY/PROBLEM SOLVING - Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable). - Interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances. - Duties may require non-routine analysis, research and follow-through. - May act as a resource to others to solve problems.
