*Duration**: 6+ months* Kindly respond back to j...@3ktechnologies.com As an EMC Design Engineer, you will be part of the Product Development Services (PDS) SI/EMC-OTA Design team. This is a central team that works with the various product development teams from concept to product release phases. EMC Design Engineer will be responsible to • Collaborate closely with multiple Business Unit (BU) hardware design teams to design, test and qualify their products to be compliant with the EMC as well as Radio (WiFi, Blue Tooth, ect.) regulatory requirements. • Work with various cross-functional disciplines (Signal Integrity, Mechanical, Thermal, Power, etc.) during the design and verification cycles • Understand hardware design constraints and tradeoffs and find cost-effective solutions where feasible Develop practical EMC design guidelines for PCB & enclosure/chassis design • Diagnose and troubleshoot EMI issues and provide design recommendations to hardware design team • Should be able to work independently on several projects concurrently and also be to collaborate and work in a team environment *Requirements* • Solid understanding of Electromagnetic, Microwave, Antenna and Circuit Theory • Good understanding of Signal & Power Integrity concepts and High-Speed design principles • Experience reviewing Schematics, PCB layout and Mechanical designs for EMC compliance • Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, LISN’s, network analyzers, EM probes, etc. • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills • Experience providing guidance to electrical and mechanical design teams and be able to perform EMC testing and troubleshooting • Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/LTE radio and understanding on TRP, TIS and SAR requirements is a plus • Knowledge of Over-the-Air (OTA) test setups and tests according to CTIA, GCF and Carrier Specification is a plus • Experience with 3D EMC modeling and prediction tools like CST Microwave Studio, ANSYS HFSS, etc. is a plus *Qualification and Experience* • Bachelor’s degree in EE (MS preferred) • At least 5 years hands-on EMC Design and trouble-shooting experience • Expert knowledge of international standards and procedures related to obtaining worldwide product certifications (e.g. FCC, CISPR, ICES, VCCI, etc.) • Knowledge is of Carrier Certification requirements is a plus -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
