Role: Middleware Engineer *EAD GC, GC, USC only who can go for face to face interview* Jersey City, NJ and Baltimore, MD 6 months Job Duties and Description: The Middleware Engineer will independently evaluate, design and engineer the middleware products and assist in integration of client facing applications into the Client environment. Should have the ability to influence project decisions and make decisions for assigned projects based on established strategy. Prepare status and informational reports for presentation to senior management. Provide expert level complex, high-level technical solutions for the applications and carry out complex assignments requiring the development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures. Develop documentation and standards for use by the organization. *Responsibilities:* • Middleware Product Design and Standards Development o Strategic design, engineer, enhancements, for enterprise middleware products supporting trading and client services o Middleware product lifecycle management o Research, evaluate and test new middleware products and/or technologies o Implement Proof of Concepts and assist in selecting middleware products o Proactively integrate tactical & strategic business initiatives with TDA enterprise environment o Guide the growth and strategic planning of the TDA application infrastructure Develop standards on middleware deployment methodologies o Propose, design, and implement enhancements and additions to current environment o Develop best practices and standards for various middleware products o Develop solutions/tools for middleware product upgrades and patching o Mentor fellow engineers on technical issues, standards and procedures o• Continuous Improvement o Assist in the growth and strategic planning of the middleware products and technology solutions o Manage continuous improvement of delivery, and operational practices o Manage middleware product(s) lifecycle strategies o Manages engineering and operational service metrics with actionable plans to improve operational efficiency, enhance service quality/SLA, and optimize delivery • Middleware product license management o Develop and manage tools to monitor and ensure compliance with the software licenses o Ensure to track the software licenses for the middleware products and conduct forecast analysis • Building support tools and automation o Develop and manage tools to support product automation o Develop scripts to automate middleware administration task ( Ex – failover, patching ) o Develop and manage middleware performance tuning tools • Compliance o Ensures compliance with established industry rules, regulations and best practices o Ensure compliance with Client policies and procedures Requirements: • Technical Experience: o Good understanding of Iaas, PaaS related disciplines o Cloud computing experience: AWS, Pivotal PCF, Docker, other IaaS or PaaS solutions • Good hands in experience on building middleware infrastructure for J2EE applications using tcSever, tomcat and Jboss, WebSpehere is a plus. • Experience with messaging products like , RabbitMQ, Tibco EMS • Strong requirements planning and project implementation skills and be able to work with internal technical staff and outside contractors to deliver results • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of all critical Production Support processes • Strong Java knowledge and experience. • Strong understanding of OpenStack and Cloud technologies. • Strong experience in Middleware design and analysis and tuning applications. • JEE Application servers :Tomcat, tcServer, Node.JS, WebSphere • JMS, IBM MQ, RabbitMQ • Apache Web Server, IBM HTTP Server • Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and networking. • Strong working expertise in Unix scripting ( Shell, Perl, Python, Jython ) • Leadership: o Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences o Must demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate, and develop associates o Must be extremely flexible due to the changing priority of project initiatives o Must possess superior interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills o Must have great attention to detail in planning and documentation o Must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure • 4 Year College Degree • Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed Regards *Himanshu* 978-558-4666 x 104 *himan...@teknavigators.com* <himan...@teknavigators.com> *TekNavigators LLC* *100 Cummings Center, Suite 207 P, Beverly, MA 01915* *www.*teknavigators.com DISCLAIMER: This message and any attachments are solely for the use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may contain information that is privileged or confidential.
