I look forward to hearing from you. *Job Title: Software Developer I* * Location: Austin TX Duration: 10 Months(with possible extension )* *Description: * The client Global Billing and Payments Technology organization includes a software engineering team that is responsible for business-critical applications needed to support billing, payment, and risk-related operations; customer service; collections; auditing; and more. The team designs, develops, supports, and maintains a number of internal applications leveraging a variety technologies including Angular/JS and PHP web-based front-end tools and interfaces, Java-based mid-tier SOAP/REST web services, Java batch processes, and underlying Oracle and MySQL databases. The engineering team is experienced in a broad set of client business process and lends subject-matter expertise, as well as Product and Project Management services, to deliver extremely cost-effective business solutions while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. *Job Responsibilities: * • Supports and maintains existing software applications, including bug fixes, enhancements, and collaboration with end users • Contributes to the design and development of one or more product features or sub-systems, supports and maintains existing systems, able to effectively troubleshoot and fix problems • Works under the supervision of manager and senior engineers; spends most of time developing code • Produces clean code that is sufficiently supported by unit tests and wiki-based documentation. *Job Requirements: * • Solid understanding of UI and web frameworks, MVC, and UX design principles • Solid understanding of technical concepts required for object-oriented Java and PHP development.
