We are currently working on filling an exciting new *CONTRACT* opportunity for an *Sr. Chef Build Automation Engineer* position that will be based out in *Reno, NV*. *Job Title: Sr. Chef Build Automation Engineer* *Location: Reno, NV* *Duration: Long Term* *MUST HAVE CHEF CERTIFIED* *Job Description: * · review the current Chef Ops Works cloud deployment, validate the architecture based on the business use case, validate that best practices, as defined by chef have been implemented. · Review current set of cookbooks and recipes. · Ensure that all desired functionality works appropriately. · Work with the Cloud Infrastructure Team to capture events which will trigger automated tasks. · Build Self-Service capabilities. · Design and implement a scalable Chef infrastructure. · You will be implementing chef in a Windows Server/RedHat Linux environment. *Required Experience:* · 3-5 Years of experience in designing, implementing, extending, and supporting Chef in an enterprise environment. · 2-3 Years of experience working within an AWS Technical Operations Team. · Well versed in Agile Scrum methodologies. · Strong to Expert Level Ruby, and Scripting skills.
