We are looking for a Sr. *Hadoop Admin in **Torrance, CA (LOCALS)* Job Title : Sr. *Hadoop Admin* Location : * Torrance, CA (LOCALS)* Duration : 6+ Months *Mandatory Copies: Passport Copy/number and H1B copy.* *Job Description*:– • Big Data Administrator with 10-12 years of experience on Hadoop Cluster Setup and Upgrade using Ambari for Hadoop, Hive, HBase • 2+ yrs strong experience around managing large clusters, setting up configuring and tuning Hadoop distributions - IBM Big Insights / Hortonworks • 2+ yrs strong background in Linux administration and scripting and background of managing Java based environments. • 2+ yrs store experience in setup and monitoring of Reporting Platforms, Hadoop Platform and NoSQL Platforms • Highly proficient & Customer facing Project experience involving design, development and deployment in one of the areas mentioned above • Able to provide infrastructure recommendations, capacity planning and develop utilities to monitor cluster better • Demonstrate understanding factors that affect distributed system performance, including hardware and network considerations. • Candidate should have at least one or two projects delivered at Production Scale on above technology stacks. • Experience with cluster maintenance tasks such as creation and removal of nodes, cluster monitoring and troubleshooting. Manage and review Hadoop log files. • Experience installing and implementing security for Hadoop clusters. • Installing Hadoop Updates, patches and version upgrades.
