Thank *ETL Developer* Location: Greensboro, NC Status: *Must be USC or GC* Type: Contract Duration: 3- 6 month contract Job Summary: Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and support of ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) components, which will be used to move large amounts of data from source data and software application data stores into the optimized operational databases. Candidate will work to help client with Data Classification and movement of key data. Additional responsibilities include tuning the ETL processes, creation of the technical and system specification documents necessary to support ETL processes and participate in development and execution of unit and system test plans. Requirements: At least 5 years full life cycle software development experience At least 5 years of experience in SQL Server T-SQL database development (data modeling, stored procedures, functions and query optimization). At least 3 years of experience in SSIS and ETL development. At least 3 years of experience working with a data warehouse and understanding of data warehousing concepts. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. Desire and ability to clearly communicate with colleagues at all levels. Ability to create complex, high performance stored procedures in SQL Server 2008/2012. Ability to create complex, high-performance views in SQL Server 2008/2012. Other Requirements: Experience in working in an Agile team. Experience in database-related performance tuning. Working knowledge in data modeling. Experience in DB2 databases. Business Analyst experience preferred but not required.
