The ETL Developer will be a highly motivated, self-driven individual, responsible for collaborating with business and technology teams to understand requirements, coordinate development and testing with the technology teams, and coordinate production implementation and communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: As a member of the Software team, you will be immersed in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment. We're looking for people who are enthusiastic about learning new and existing technologies in order to provide exceptional software solutions. As a ETL Developer you will be responsible for helping to deliver quality software and technology initiatives by: • Works independently to develop, configure, code and test programs from specifications • Design, develop and support all database objects required for integrations and reporting • Design, develop and support all extraction and integration processes (ETL) • Develop ETL data workflows and code for new data integrations and maintain/enhance existing workflows and code • Perform data analysis and propose and ensure transformation covers all data possibilities including managing data anomalies, and exception handling • Presents all work in design review and code review sessions to senior team members, and must be able to explain and support decisions made and actions taken • Provide support to technical team, write the necessary required documentation as per the development methodology for ETL processes, and develop unit test plan, test cases and resolve ETL related test issues • Provide in-depth troubleshooting skills to assist in resolving errors and performance issues including tier 2/3 production support • Maintain a deep understanding of the integrated data and work with end users for how to best interpret • Keep alert of integrated product developments that translate to environmental or code modifications • Comply with internal development coding standards, procedural guides, and checklists for the support of the database systems • Keep projects, initiatives in motion and delivered on time • Interacting with individuals from across the company in different supporting organizations and business groups • Contributing to continuous improvement and proactively supports knowledge sharing within the team and across technology Qualifications: As a ETL Developer you will have the skills and experience necessary in order to: • Strong in High Level Design of ETL DTS Packages & SSIS Packages for integrating data using connection from heterogeneous sources like (Excel, CSV, flat file, Text Format Data) by using multiple transformations provided by SSIS such as Data Conversion, Conditional Split, Bulk Insert, Merge and union all • Experience automating data Import/extraction using SQL Server tools such as SSIS, BCP, bulk insert • Strong understanding of Relational Databases and Data Structures • Demonstrate experience in collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements, impact analysis • Demonstrated proficiency in T-SQL (queries, Stored Procedures, User-Defined Functions, Views, Indexes, etc.) • Software version control experience and related principles (tagging, branching, etc.) • Exposure to Agile techniques such as Scrum, Kanban and TDD • Must be self-directed/self-motivated. Must be able to manage workload and deliver agreed upon project milestones • Demonstrate strong work ethics, a commitment to excellence and is a positive influence on others • Team player that works wells with individuals & thrives in a complex, global organization • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization and decision-making skills • Communicate effectively (verbally and written) and problem solve with various partners, vendors, offshore development teams and internal groups • Support production systems for database problem resolution, recovery and emergency off-hour support Experience: • 6+ years of professional experience as a technical leader with a proven record of innovating solutions • 5+ years of T-SQL development experience in SQL Server 2008-2014 databases, 2016 a plus • 5+ years writing complex SQL (stored procedures, functions) • 4+ years relevant work experience in a software application production environment • 3+ years of Experience in SSIS Package Maintenance and Development • 2+ years with source control (TFS, GIT, Subversion) Essential Duties and Responsibilities estimated percentage allocation: • 90% Development related activities • 10% Administration related activities Regards, Adam Seth Senior recruiter.
