*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Senior Build and Release Engineer - San Jose, CA - 3+Months Sr. Build and Release Engineer * 5+ years general SCM experience with at least 3 years experience with SVN build scripts, development/integration experience in J2EE environment. * Experience with My SQL, Linux/Unix, Windows NT, and Java/J2EE, WAS, MS-IIS, Flash, Install Shields/Creating Linux RPMs. * Experience with creation and maintaining automated build tools * Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, SCM practices along with Software Build and Release Management methodologies. * Mature hands-on experience with enterprise level systems for large organizations, preferably in media and/or networking industry. * Strong ability to successfully manage concurrent deliverables on time and with quality within fast-paced environment and under deadlines. * Substantial experience to support parallel development environments in support of multi project development and interdependencies * Experience in tuning and managing SCM suite of products to operate optimally and efficiently with minimal downtime. * High degree of professionalism to address and resolve end-user issues. Experience in providing follow-up to customer base in timely and quality manner. Excellent oral and written communications are required. * Demonstrated expertise with data extract and query tools (e.g. SQL/Oracle) * Demonstrated expertise with source code control environments (e.g CVS, Clearcase) * Very Strong Linux Administration as well as Apache/Tomcat Administration Skills Desired Skills * Working knowledge of the Web technologies (Unix, Windows). Experience within 3-tier architecture environment. * Working knowledge of Perl, Windows, and Unix shell scripting. * Flexibility and maturity to adapt to the environment in transition. * Work independently as part of the expanded team. * Experience working on cross-functional teams and with other engineers, especially from different geographic locations, is a plus.
