Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator
Location: Montvale, NJ
Duration : 12 Months

The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the installation,
configuration and maintenance of the Basis component of SAP systems and will
assist in the planning, designing & architecture of SAP systems across a
variety of platforms and database. Individuals should be capable of working
independently or in teams and have the ability to effectively communicate
with customers to gain insight and develop solutions to meet their business
needs.

*Responsibilities:*
Provide comprehensive SAP Basis support across multiple business units as
well as providing guidance and leadership in the areas of issue
troubleshooting and resolutions, maintenance, SAP security technologies and
system architecture / product roadmap design. The individual will be part of
a highly competitive Global SAP Basis solution team. The individual should
have prior project management experience with handling global SAP landscape
upgrades.
Participate in the Project planning and delivery, production support,
monitoring, SAP Software upgrades , support packs and performance tuning of
SAP Environments, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the SAP
systems, which include new dimensional products such as ECC 6.0, SAP Web
Application Server, Solution Manager, GRC, Java stacks, and other SAP
applications.
Participate in the Project planning and delivery of new dimensional SAP
systems to meet expanding business requirements including Installation of
Dual stack/SID (ABAP/Java).
Maintenance of multi-landscape environments through client copies, system
refreshes, and transport management
Implement single sign-on (SSO) solution with backend (R/3) systems
Practical experience interfacing to Third party technologies such as Vertex,
Redwood CPS, Wily introscope, Tidal monitoring software
Research and implement solutions for Basis functionality in the areas of
performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration using the SAP Best
Practice outlined.
Contribute technically to team objectives and integrate new technology into
the team.
Architectural design, deployment, configuration and ongoing maintenance of
multiple SAP landscapes - ECC 5.0, ECC 6.0, SAP R/3, Solution Manager, SAP
BW, XI/PI, Enterprise Portals, SAP GRC 5.3, and other SAP components
Provide Basis technical support to ABAP developers, functional team, DBA,
Help desk support personnel, and other support groups to resolve system
issues.
Provides assistance in developing and implementing proper security measures
in order to provide data integrity and confidentiality of information.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Work across functional support
areas to tune SAP Applications for optimal performance.
Experience in configuring and implementing SAP Solution Manager Charm and
BPM functionality is required.
Experience in designing and developing solutions for operational metrics
gathering and reporting using Solution Manager is required.
Evaluate enterprise-wide SAP application systems and develop detailed
analysis reports and recommendations for business critical systems.
Participate in 24x7 SAP Basis on call rotation support

*Required Qualifications*
Strong experience with Netweaver technology, dual stack SAP landscapes,
Architecture planning and its Integration with 3rd party application is
must. Technical Hands on knowledge of  ECC 6.0, PI7.1, SAP BI7.0, SAP Web
As, UNIX, network, Oracle or DB2 , Web tools, enterprise system management,
tools and trends. Experience of executing SAP project using structured
approach and best practices is a must
Must communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing in
order to provide clear, concise communication to Management, Basis team
members, and others
Bachelor's or higher level degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or
related discipline with project management and technical experience.
Experience must include a minimum of ten (10) years of Information
Technologies experience, a minimum of eight (8) years SAP Basis Hands-on
Technical experience.
