LOCATION: NYC Rate: per day on c2c/1099 basis Duration: 12 months+ Someone who had done everything- worked with appliances, like teradata, architecture mind set- load balancing, repeatable processes- show them things on how to improve their Oracle environment. Understanding the engineering side of things- infrastructure and application side. They need to be able to be hands on as well implement plan themselves. Main Function We are looking for a Sr. Oracle Application DBA / Developerwith an outstanding Oracle database administration & development background to manage development and database management efforts. The team is developing a data warehouse that serves as a single store for Barclays risk and finance data. The RFDW Information Model (IM) team is responsible to manage databases, develop PL/SQL interfaces and maintain software releases. An ideal candidate would at least have 10 years of related work experience and previous hands-on experience on RAC databases, Oracle PL/SQL development and high volume databases.
