You'll use current coding methodologies to support our client IT platforms and contribute to technical code documentation. In addition, you will attend technology design meetings and recommend security and data improvements to designers as well as work with Marketing and Execution Operations to develop and test new applications while adhering to all IT control policies. The Application Developer will identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues to provide superior feedback for approved user documentation. Skills required: Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements documentation. 5+ years’ experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implementation. 5+ years’ experience with Java. 3+ YEARS Experience with JRules 6.x / 7.x Experience developing with BOM / XOM Experience with BAL, TRL, IRL, Decision Tables Experience with Clearcase. Experience with XML /XPATH /Schema. 3+ years’ experience with a J2EE/EJB Application Server (preferably WebSphere). 5+ years’ experience working in both UNIX and Windows environments. Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
